Obra realizada aquando a exposição “Mundo Onírico” no Centro de Artes e Cultura.
A pintura está dividida em duas partes: à esquerda aspetos do Alentejo e à direita, apontamentos do folclore das ilhas em Cabo Verde.

Work carried out during the exhibition “Mundo Onírico” at the Arts and Culture Center.
The painting is divided into two parts: on the left aspects of Alentejo and on the right, notes of the folklore of the islands in Cape Verde.
Tchalê Figueira
Bio – PT
Tchalê Figueira nasceu no Mindelo, ilha de São Vicente, em 1953.
A partir dos 17 anos viaja por vários países da Europa, Ásia e América, depois de ter estado em Roterdão.
Em 1974, frequenta a Escola de Belas Artes em Basileia (Suíça), traçando aí a sua evolução enquanto artista.
Em 1985 regressa a Cabo Verde, residindo entre a Cidade da Praia onde possui um ateliê e a cidade do Mindelo onde abriu a galeria “Ponta D’Praia” em 2014.
O onírico do Tchalê (relativo ao devaneio acordado), é na verdade um vasto mosaico notavelmente multifacetado: fantasioso, imaginativo, sonial.
Cabo Verde está preso no sonho do Tchalê e ele preso nessa fantasia.

Tchalê Figueira was born in Mindelo, São Vicente Island, in 1953.
From the age of 17 he travels to several countries in Europe, Asia and America, after being in Rotterdam.
In 1974, he attended the School of Fine Arts in Basel (Switzerland), tracing his evolution there as an artist.
In 1985 he returned to Cape Verde, residing between Cidade da Praia where he has a studio and the city of Mindelo where he opened the “Ponta D’Praia” gallery in 2014.
The dreamlike of Tchalê (related to the waking daydream), is in fact a vast mosaic remarkably multifaceted: fantasy, imaginative, sonial.
Cape Verde is stuck in Tchalê’s dream and he is stuck in that fantasy.

Representa o homem em contemplação da natureza, observando a sua paisagem (sobreiros) e marca a presença das cegonhas na região.

It represents man in contemplation of nature, observing its landscape (cork oaks) and marks the presence of storks in the region.
Méo
Bio – PT
Méo é natural da Ilha da Reunião.
Desde muito novo que assume a sua paixão pelo mundo do desenho e das ilustrações, de tal forma que resolve prosseguir os seus estudos em Artes Aplicadas.
Na adolescência, enquanto amante do basquetebol e do hip-hop, descobre o mundo dos grafitis, que lhe permitem uma forma de expressão criativa, livre e sem regras. É em 1996 que começa então a sua “apropriação” da cidade, com intervenções em pontes até dominar o spray aerossol.
Cria a sua marca distintiva através dos seus retratos e cenários, sempre cheios de detalhes.
É um perfecionista e, para ele, o trabalho tem uma dimensão criativa, mas também hiper-realista, encarando cada obra como um desafio a si próprio. Os seus retratos espelham a cultura crioula, a sua realidade e as suas raízes.
Para além desta dimensão estética, o seu trabalho é também força de protesto contra injustiças, desigualdades, levando a tomadas de consciência e reflexão sobre acontecimentos da atualidade.
A sua galeria é a rua e é aí que partilha a sua paixão com o público.

Méo is from Réunion Island.
Since he was very young, he assumed his passion for the world of drawing and illustrations, in such a way that he decided to continue his studies in Applied Arts.
As a teenager, as a lover of basketball and hip-hop, he discovered the world of graffiti, which allowed him a form of creative expression, free and without rules. It was in 1996 that his “appropriation” of the city began, with interventions on bridges until he mastered the aerosol spray.
He creates his distinctive brand through his portraits and scenery, always full of details.
He is a perfectionist and, for him, the work has a creative dimension, but also hyper-realistic, facing each work as a challenge to itself. His portraits reflect the Creole culture, its reality and its roots.
In addition to this aesthetic dimension, his work is also a force of protest against injustices, inequalities, leading to awareness and reflection on current events.
His gallery is the street and this is where he shares his passion with the public.

Realizado aquando a sua exposição “Meus aCORdes” no Centro de Artes e Cultura.
Este mural localiza-se na Rua de Santo António, junto à Delegação da Cruz Vermelha de Ponte de Sor.
É exatamente uma homenagem a essa instituição, ao Santo António, ao pão e ao azeite.

This mural is located on Rua de Santo António, next to the Ponte de Sor Red Cross Delegation.
It is exactly a tribute to that institution, to Santo António, to bread and to olive oil.
Tutu Sousa
Bio – PT
Tutu Sousa, nasceu na Ilha de São Vicente, em Cabo Verde e vive na cidade da Praia desde os seus 2 anos de idade.
Frequentou vários workshops de arte senegalesa, mas é um autodidata no que se refere à pintura e escultura.
Realizou diversas exposições, não só em Cabo Verde, mas também pela Europa e EUA.
Teve a oportunidade de pintar murais decorativos nos Aeroportos Internacionais Nelson Mandela na Cidade da Praia e Amílcar Cabral na Ilha do Sal.
Em 2005 foi galardoado pela Câmara Municipal da Praia, em reconhecimento do seu trabalho de street art na Cidade da Praia.
Em 2016 ao comemorar 25 anos de carreira, dá início a um projeto pessoal “Rua d’ARTE”, uma galeria a céu aberto com objetivo de promover a arte e a cultura e também promover a união entre artistas.

Tutu Sousa, was born on the island of São Vicente, in Cape Verde and has lived in the city of Praia since he was 2 years old.
He attended several Senegalese art workshops, but he is self-taught when it comes to painting and sculpture.
He held several exhibitions, not only in Cape Verde, but also in Europe and the USA.
He had the opportunity to paint decorative murals at Nelson Mandela International Airport in Praia and Amílcar Cabral International Airport on Ilha do Sal.
In 2005 he was awarded by the Praia City Council, in recognition of his street art work in Praia.
In 2016, celebrating 25 years of career, he started a personal project “Rua d’ARTE”, an open-air gallery with the objective of promoting art and culture and also promoting the union between artists.
