9 – Título: A Tempo

Tendo Ponte de Sor uma forte ligação à música, esta escultura é dedicada à música e foi realizada aquando as obras de requalificação do Largo Marquês de Pombal. Fica localizada junto à antiga Escola Primária de Ponte de Sor, onde hoje em dia funciona o Pólo da Escola de Artes do Norte Alentejano.

Since Ponte de Sor has a strong connection to music, this sculpture is dedicated to music and was made during the requalification works of Largo Marquês de Pombal. It is located next to the old Primary School of Ponte de Sor, where the Pole of the School of Arts of the North Alentejo currently operates.

Bio – PT

Cristina Maria Ferreira é natural de Leiria, tendo iniciado o seu percurso musical como instrumentista de flauta e clarinete. Integrou alguns grupos de música popular e étnica, bem como bandas de pop e rock. No entanto, a sua maior ligação foi com o Fado.

Dedica-se ao Fado em 2004, tendo inúmeros concertos por Portugal e pelo mundo.

O seu primeiro disco é gravado em 2008, com direção e produção artística de Custódio Castelo.

Cristina Maria vive a arte duplamente ligando o Fado à escultura.

Formou-se na Escola de Artes e Ofícios da Batalha, sendo formadora na área da Pedra não só em Portugal, mas também noutros países da Europa e Brasil.

Durante cerca de 10 anos foi júri de concursos na área da Cantaria Artística, promovidos pelo I.E.F.P..

Teve uma série de exposições coletivas e individuais desde 1998.

Cristina Maria Ferreira is from Leiria, having started her musical career as a flute and clarinet instrumentalist. He integrated some popular and ethnic music groups, as well as pop and rock bands. However, his greatest connection was with Fado.

He dedicated herself to Fado in 2004, having numerous concerts throughout Portugal and around the world.

Her first album is recorded in 2008, under the direction and artistic production of Custódio Castelo.

Cristina Maria lives art doubly by linking Fado to sculpture.

She graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts of Batalha, being a trainer in the area of Stone not only in Portugal, but also in other countries in Europe and Brazil.

For about 10 years she was a jury of contests in the area of Artistic Stonework, promoted by I.E.F.P ..

She had a series of collective and individual exhibitions since 1998.
